Echos of Iemanja, water carriers, flowers in the pocket, on the shoulder,… each sculpture is born from the same cocoon of poured clay, then transformed and shaped by hand, without sketches or drawings. Fruit of a direct work with the material, unpredictable path of gestures with clay, mirror of the soul, the iemavases form a small tribe.

 

Echos de Iemanja, porteuses d'eau, fleurs dans la poche, sur l’épaule,… chaque sculpture naît d'un même cocon d'argile coulée, puis transformé et façonné à la main sans croquis ni dessin. Fruit d'un travail direct avec la matière, cheminement imprévisible des gestes avec l'argile, miroir de l'âme, les iemavases forment une petite tribu.
